Tuesday, 15 August 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 (NIV) * Our God is the ultimate Creator.* He exhibited His creativity from the beginning of time by creating the heavens and the earth out of nothing.* As His children, we are also created in His image. In the Bible, we encounter many stories highlighting God’s people’s creativity. One such story is that of Bezalel and Oholiab, skilled artisans God chose to contribute their creative abilities to constructing the Tabernacle (Exodus 31:1-11). These craftsmen were filled with the Spirit of God and gifted with wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, enabling them to create beautiful works of art with intricate designs and skilled craftsmanship. Through their creative talents, they played a significant role in building the place of worship precisely per the plan God gave Moses. * Likewise, you are also exceptional, uniquely made, and God’s masterpiece.* Don’t underestimate your potential.* You were designed to be creative in your thinking, work, and life and are destined for success. * He has given you unique talents and abilities to use for His glory and the benefit of others.* Know your skills and talents, nurture and fine-tune them, and use them for God’s glory.* Be creative in your ministry, finding solutions to human problems and ways to help others in need. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me to live up to the potential you have given me. Amen.
