Under the Shelter 🦅
Today’s Word: 📖 “Don’t be afraid! I will protect you and reward you greatly.” — Genesis 15:1 (CEV)
The wind howled through the canyon, violently shaking the branches of the ancient pine tree. Inside a high nest, a fledgling eagle shivered, peering over the edge at the dizzying drop and the gathering storm clouds. The world felt vast, cold, and threatening. Just as panic began to set in, the mother eagle swept down, spreading her massive, thick wings. She draped them completely over the nest, blocking out the howling wind and the terrifying view. Under the warmth of her feathers, the shivering stopped, and the nest became a fortress of peace. 🦅
Similarly, we frequently perceive the uncertain future and become paralyzed by fear. We worry about worst-case scenarios, financial instability, or unexpected trials. But God does not leave us exposed to the storms of life. He steps in as our ultimate shield, wrapping us in His divine protection and promising that our trust in Him will be met with an abundance of grace and blessing.
Response: 🚶♂️ Whenever a fearful thought enters your mind today, consciously hand it over to God and declare, “You are my shield and my reward.”
Prayer: 🙏 Father, thank You for being my shelter when the winds of fear blow fierce. Help me to rest securely under the shadow of Your wings, trusting in Your protection and the beautiful future You have promised me. Amen.
