John 14:14 (NKJV) Dear Child of God, * Jesus has given you this assurance that you can use it daily.* It could be true that God has not done what you have asked Him to do in the past.* “If we ask Him for anything that is in line with His will, we will get it,” says another verse in the Holy Bible. * Here, I would like to highlight the words “Asking in Jesus’ Name.”* It highlights the most crucial dimension, called the relationship with Jesus.* If you trust in Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him, I am sure that He will be first and foremost in your life for anything and everything.* Jesus will always be the first person your heart turns to when you have a need, and you will be asking rightfully and with lots of confidence.* God delights in such a relationship. * Is He your first and foremost priority in life, or do you remember Him only when there is a crisis?* Intimately closer to Jesus will be life-transforming, and your heart will be aligned with His plan and purpose.* That will help you understand His will to ask God the Father, rightfully, in the name of Jesus.* God will never despise those petitions because they are already in sync with His will.* Therefore, focus more on your intimacy with Jesus.* Other aspects of life will automatically fall into place. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me to be intimately closer to you, know your will, and pray accordingly. Amen.
