Wednesday, 31 July 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36 (NLT) Our God is compassionate. Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus displayed compassion. He performed miracles whenever He was moved with compassion. How compassionate are you towards others who struggle in life? Compassion makes a person stand out in today’s self-centered society. It drives a person to provide selfless service to others. Genuine compassion comes through the love of Jesus. - Ask God to fill you with more of His love.- Sometimes, God allows His children to be broken in their spirit to make them compassionate.- Do not feel dejected if you are going through such painful paths.- He cannot ignore the prayers of such people and will surely make you a channel of blessing to others.- Remain committed to God’s plan to be fulfilled in your life.- He will transform you into a compassionate person. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please fill my heart with your love and help me be compassionate with those in pain and agony. Amen.
