IT IS GOOD AND PLEASANT WHEN GOD’S PEOPLE LIVE TOGETHER IN UNITY. Sunday, 18 August 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! Psalm 133:1 (NIV) Unity is difficult to find these days. The enemy’s devious strategy is to divide and rule. Unfortunately, we, God’s children, are also falling victim to this demonic ploy. Unity is so crucial that even Jesus prayed to God the Father about His disciples’ unity before He was crucified. God’s children should promote peace and togetherness throughout their lives. We must recognize and oppose anything divisive. The Body of Christ is like a natural body. Each organ is different and performs a different job, but the body as a whole works because all of its parts work together. Staying together in unity would be easy if we could learn to accept others as God’s masterpiece. Crucifying our ego and selfish nature on the cross would enable us to be people of peace and unity.Be a peacemaker and a person of peace. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me live a well-knitted life with you and exhibit peace and peacemaking in society. Amen.
