Sunday, 19 May 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:Don’t just pretend that you love others: really love them. Hate what is wrong. Stand on the side of the good. Romans 12:9 (TLB) It is becoming increasingly difficult to find people who genuinely love others. Deception for selfish gains is on the rise everywhere. Nowadays, it has become widespread to see people of all ages, especially youngsters, feeling depressed and hurt because of broken relationships. Creating hype around relationships to increase business has become an acceptable marketing strategy but has drawbacks. Vulnerable people are often emotionally triggered and fall prey to it, which can destroy their lives. How do you perceive this situation? Can you take a stand to be genuine with people who love you or whom you love? Let yourself be filled with the love of Jesus, which is pure and goes beyond lust and temporary emotional uprisings. Live by example to demonstrate this true love to everyone around you. Take time to educate your children about the importance of discerning good from bad. May the love of Jesus be seen in your words and life. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me to live a righteous life and to show genuine love for others. Help me stand up for good and hate everything that is wrong. Amen.
