Joshua 5:9 (NLT) * Are you still looking for ways and means to hide your face from people because of your previous addiction?* Are you haunted by memories of your turbulent and abused past?* Are you marginalized or intimidated by those who are aware of your history? * Don’t panic.* You are now a new creation in Christ.* God forgave your previous sins when you truly repented and accepted Jesus as your Savior. * Even if you’re still dealing with the remnants of old behaviors, give them to God.* Christ will deliver you from all enslavement and Satan’s grip.* Christ has given you a new future filled with joy, happiness, and peace.* Jesus has removed the disgrace of your slavery.* Therefore, be glad and joyful. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please deliver me from all bonds and the repercussions of shame. Help me to live freely in you. Amen.
