Matthew 5:6 (NLT) * In today’s environment, righteousness is diminishing at an alarming rate.* In the pursuit of achievement, individuals attempt to influence others using unjust and unethical ways and then try to justify their wrongdoing.* Justice is no longer guaranteed for the ordinary citizen. * However, our God is a righteous judge.* He is an unchanging king who demands righteousness from His people.* The good news is that He is willing to satisfy all those who hunger and thirst for justice. * Righteousness refers to the proper relationship between God and others.* He died on the cross to make you righteous.* It is a God-centred attribute that leads to life. * Therefore, you should thirst and hunger for that.* God is pleased with people who seek righteousness.* He will transform you into a person who is just and righteous. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please transform me into a person of righteousness. Amen.
