Friday, 18 October 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Philippians 3:8b (ESV) Paul, a learned and honorable man who followed Jewish customs and laws, was persecuting the believers of Christ. However, his life changed completely after his encounter with God. He began preaching about the Christ who graciously forgave his mistakes and transformed his life. The life-changing experience made him realize the infinite value of Jesus and His love. Paul understood that anything in this world (education, wealth, influence, power, etc.) is worthless compared to the value of Christ and His love. He considered all his experiences, intellect, and knowledge as garbage. He was longing to know more about Christ and to be with Him. Is Jesus Christ the reason for the transformation of our life?Is Jesus Christ more valuable than all other things in our life? Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me remember the precious and valuable nature of your love for me. Amen.
