Tuesday, 30 January 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12 (NIV) Being joyful in hope means having a positive outlook on life and believing that good things are coming. It’s about finding happiness and contentment in the present moment while eagerly anticipating a bright future. Hope allows us to see beyond our current circumstances and focus on the possibilities. Having hope in Jesus is the most secure thing anyone can have in this world. All other things in this world, no matter how strong and resilient they may seem to our eyes, are not secure and permanent. Hope gives us the strength and resilience to face challenges and keep moving forward, even when things seem difficult because Jesus has promised not to leave us alone. Ultimately, being joyful in hope is about intentionally cultivating a sense of optimism and faith to receive blessings in the future that can sustain us through life’s ups and downs. As God’s children, we have every reason to be joyful in our hope in Christ since Jesus Christ is alive and is still on the throne. Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, please help me trust in you and be joyful about the hope I have in you. Amen.
