Clearing the Path 🥾
Today’s Word: 📖 “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way.” — Exodus 23:20 (NIV)
Maya stood at the trailhead, looking up at the dense, intimidating forest of the mountain pass. The ranger at the visitor center smiled and handed her a map. “Don’t worry,” he said. “Our trail crew went up at dawn. They’ve already cleared the fallen branches from last night’s storm, marked the detours, and made sure the path is safe for you.”
As Maya hiked, she noticed the fresh chainsaw cuts on fallen logs and the bright orange ribbons tied to branches. Though she couldn’t see the trail crew, she saw the evidence of their work at every turn. She wasn’t walking into the unknown alone; someone had already gone ahead to prepare her way. 🌲
In the same way, we often face seasons of life that feel like an intimidating, unmarked wilderness. We worry about the obstacles, the dangers, and the unknowns of tomorrow. But God promises that we never walk into the future alone. He sends His presence, His angels, and His grace ahead of us to secure the path, clear the way, and guard our steps. Even when we cannot see Him, we can trust that He has already prepared the road ahead.
Response: 🚶♂️ Start your day with confidence, releasing your anxiety about the future to the God who is already standing in your tomorrow.
Prayer: 🙏 Lord, thank You for going ahead of me and preparing my path. Help me to walk in peace today, knowing that Your guard is secure and my steps are guided by Your love. Amen.
